Heparin Problems Heparin Math Problem?

Heparin math problem? - heparin problems

25,000 units heparin in 250 ml saline heparin infusion of 1200 units per hour through a tube with a reduction factor of 60.
A. Calculate ml / hr
B. Calculate the gtt / min

I know you have to share a part, but then I lose. 25,000 units / 250 ml = 1200 units x ml
But I can not be the answer

1 comment:

  1. 12 ml / h (25000 Units: 250 ml = 1200 units: x ml - - - 25000x = 300000 ---300000/25000 = 25000x/25000 --- x = 12 ml / h)

    1200 gtt / min ->
    1200 units x 60 gtt / 60 min = 1200 gtt / min
